Kids are All Stars
Kids have different abilities, backgrounds, levels of experience, and challenges. That goes for sports as well as other areas of life (and it goes for grown-ups, too!)
Camp should be a place where all kids can explore and realize their potential in new areas, and new fields of interest – a place where kids are all stars.
For everyone at camp, this means showing good sportsmanship, and understanding that we all play at different levels, but we can all play together.

Good Sportsmanship
Good Sportsmanship isn't always easy – just like any other skill in life, sometimes it takes practice. Each participant at All Star Israel Sports Camp commits to do their best to treat their fellow campers and counselors with respect, to graciously help fellow campers who want to improve skills or learn new ones, never to use violence, and to practice good sportsmanship.

All Stars Play Safe
Health and safety are of paramount importance at camp. All participants must do their best to maintain safety for themselves and others. This includes following the instructions of counselors and staff specialists. Parents of campers commit that their children can and will reliably follow the instructions of camp staff.

Inclusion
At All Star Israel, we do our best to enable all kids to be included. If there are any health or safety concerns or issues specific to your child, make sure to inform us of these issues and ensure that they have been fully addressed.
While we have programming for younger campers, from Pre-K and up, at All Star Israel, campers must be able to follow basic instructions, and must be able to use the bathroom on their own.

Parents/guardians hereby fully consent to their children's participation in all activities, including swimming and water parks, leaving the grounds of the camp for trips and other activities, and being included in published camp photos/videos in all formats, and hereby affirm that there is no medical or safety reason to prevent or limit their children from participation, including full vaccination, and that participants are covered by Israeli Kupat Cholim [health fund] and/or full health insurance. In the event that any medical or safety issue exists, including one which could prevent or limit participation, parents/guardians commit to immediately inform All Star Israel in writing, and to assure that the issue has been properly addressed. All Star Israel will make all final decisions regarding the safety and suitability of a participant participating in the program. Should the determination be made by All Star Israel that a participant cannot continue participation, for reasons that were not known and could not reasonably have been known by the participant/parents, All Star Israel will refund the prorated proportion of the registration.

All Stars Play Fair
All Star Israel works hard to treat employees and suppliers with respect, and is committed to upholding labor law. Our discounts and cancellation policy are structured to enable us to commit to employees – many of whom are young people just starting out in life, and all of whom deserve a fair shake.

Cancellation Policy

In the case of a cancellation in writing at least 30 days before the program begins , a full refund less NIS 180 will be given, for each week. (Please note that cancellations also may affect discounts). Later cancellations can not be credited with refunds.
E.g. if the summer program begins July 1st, then the cut-off date for any cancellations for the summer is June 1st. We make decisions and commitments to staff, suppliers, etc. - so as at this point, we must know who is attending, (not who might be attending…). If you're not sure about any dates, we strongly recommend you only register for dates about which you are certain - you'll still get the "early" or "super-early" discounts for any weeks you finalize during the relevant periods, and the computer will also count the "multi-week" discount for any weeks you add later, if relevant.
Discounts are finalized upon payment.

Special note just in case of unexpected circumstances:
We are looking forward to providing an amazing summer for all of the kids! We are working hard to create a summer at All Star Israel that is safe and wonderful. We're doing all the preparation for camp, with love. We do have to recognize that if we go ahead with all the preparations, and then a chunk of camp is canceled, there are certain "sunk costs" which would simply be the end of our beloved All Star Israel camp.

So, to be on the safe side, in a case like that there will be a non-refundable portion of 10%. We're doing this so that we can proceed responsibly. Just to be clear, this isn't an additional payment, it's included in the regular price. We're doing this so that given the circumstances, we can proceed responsibly, and create a great summer for the kids.

If for any reason the camp is canceled, you will be fully refunded minus the above non-refundable part. Likewise, if the camp is partially cancelled, you will only be charged proportionately for the days that camp was open and will be refunded the rest, minus the above. (The regular cancellation policy, in the Terms of Participation, still applies if camp isn't canceled but you choose to cancel your participation.)

Special note for those with medical issues
We try hard to include everyone! We want to stress, especially if someone in your household is immunocompromised or otherwise high-risk, that no environment is ever perfect. That definitely includes schools and camps. So if this is relevant to you or your kids, please be in touch (even - especially! - if you cannot register), and we will discuss with you ideas for including your kids in the camp community.
Again, you can always contact us with any questions, at info@allstarisrael.com .
Final Note: One of the ramifications of the mitzvah of "lifnei iver lo titen michshol", the commandment not to "place a stumbling block before a blind person", is that one should keep a written record of debts and obligations that others have to you. If you don't, and they forget that they owe you something and refuse to repay it, they are wronging you - and, in a way, you are causing them to do so. (-Rabbi Ben Hollander, in the name of Nechama Leibowitz.)

All Star Israel is happy to try to accommodate requests

and we love creative suggestions for camp! There is simply no way that we could possibly remember every verbal request and logistical detail by heart. We don't want to be in a position that we verbally agree to a request, which we later forget or can not accommodate. Therefore, while we are happy to try to accommodate requests whenever possible, only our written or email responses, confirmations, and receipts are binding. And please remember that counselors know how things usually run at camp - if you need to know a specific logistical or administrative detail, e.g. “what time are we leaving for the pool tomorrow” or “is there still room to register for another week of camp”, please get a definitive answer from the camp office.
The terms "All Star Israel", "All Star Israel Sports Camp", and the like, refer to All Star Israel Experience and Education, LTD.
Parents/guardians registering campers for All Star Israel Sports Camp and/or any program of All Star Israel, and participants, commit to abide by these terms of participation.
